This dashboard includes data on the number of Advanced Placement (AP) exams taken by MCPS high school students in the last three years. The data are organized by student group and subject. The AP exam is a standardized test developed by The College Board that measures students’ mastery of AP related course content. An AP exam score ranges from 1 to 5 and a score of 3 or higher indicates a student is ready for college-level course work. The number of students who scored at least an AP exam score of 3 or higher and the percent of students who scored 3 or higher on an AP exam are provided on this dashboard. In addition, the percent of taking one, two, three, four, or five or more AP exams are reported.
