This dashboard includes data on the performance MCPS students on the Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) Mathematics (Math). MCAP Math is a required assessment in the state of Maryland. PARCC Math measures complex skills like critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem solving. The tests are scored on a five-point scale—Level 1: Did not yet meet expectations; Level 2: Partially Met Expectations; Level 3: Approached Expectations; Level 4: Met expectations and Level 5: Exceeded Expectations. Students scoring 4’s and 5’s are considered to be on track to be college and career ready. The percent of students meeting each performance level is included in this dashboard.
