EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processes human resource transactions such as new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, retirements, higher level assignments, temporary part time, substitute assignments etc. Ensures that all data entry into the HRIS Lawson system is accurate; checks and verifies transactions, input and output reports, researches errors, corrects data and clear up discrepancies, etc. Assist position and salary administration specialist in more complex transactions that included retro pay adjustments and historical corrections.Collaborates with the Office of Human Resources and Development to assure employee transactions are being processed in a timely and accurate manner.Analyzes transactions to ensure that position and salary administration rules, payrate guidelines are being followed.Works with school staff to resolve issues related to time and attendance, payroll, and employee payments.Receives and completes employee researches and verification letters using current and legacy HR system.Operates and maintains scanning process and document storage. Provides strong customer service for internal and external customers, both oral and written communications. Responds to a high volume of employee inquiries regarding human resource, leave, payroll, and insurance and retirement issues. Provides call center support as needed.Performs related tasks as required.
