Northwood High School was closed today, May 12, at 10:00 a.m. because of an ongoing law enforcement investigation into an alleged incendiary device discovered this morning in the school parking lot.

Students who had been evacuated to Forest Knolls Elementary School will be dismissed from there following normal dismissal procedures.

Other 9th grade students who were on a field trip will be returning today between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. Parents should pick their children up from Forest Knolls Elementary School at that time.
