Rockville High School to Remain Closed Tuesday, May 5, 2009

May 4, 2009
Under the direction of Montgomery County and Maryland state health officials, Rockville High School will remain closed on Tuesday, May 5. The school was originally closed on Friday, May 1, due to a probable case of the H1N1 (Swine) Flu involving a student.

A date has not yet been set for reopening, but Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) officials are consulting with the county and state health officials on a daily basis. MCPS officials are advocating that the school reopen as soon as possible.

Rockville High School students scheduled to take Advanced Placement (AP) tests will take them at the scheduled time tomorrow at Mark Twain School, 14501 Avery Road in Rockville.
