Debbie Scesa, music teacher at Farmland Elementary School, is featured in the new book Teachers: The Enlightened, the Exceptional, the Extraordinary, published by Andrews McMeel Publishing. Scesa was “found” by the editor, who also created the book and the PBS Special “Sisters,” when she heard Scesa and her students on “Nightline” with Placido Domingo and interviewed on National Public Radio. Scesa's teaching expertise is presented in four pages of text and photographs in the book.
