The public presentation by Superintendent Jerry D. Weast to the Board of Education and community on the next year's operating budget for the Montgomery County Public Schools has been rescheduled to Thursday evening, December 12, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Montgomery Blair High School auditorium at 51 University Boulevard East in Silver Spring.

This event will include a “state of the school system” presentation, with information on the budget, continuation of academic achievements, holding the line on new programs, cutbacks in central administration and other services, and funding for a rapidly growing enrollment and other responsibilities.
