The Montgomery County Board of Education will formally install the 47th Student Member of the Board (SMOB), Anuva Maloo, on July 1.

Maloo, a junior at Montgomery Blair High School, begins her term upon installation. 

The Board will also recognize the contributions of the outgoing SMOB, Praneel Suvarna, at the installation ceremony. 

The SMOB Installation will take place Tuesday, July 1, 4:00 p.m. at 15 W. Gude Drive. Media are invited to attend the ceremony. It will also be livestreamed on the MCPS website (https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/)
