EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meets regularly with director and chief technology officer to communicate status of student systems.Prepares oral and written reports and presentations for key stakeholder groups, including the superintendent, executive leadership team, parents, school-based leadership, and central office leaders on the current and future state of student systems and all related modules. Leads multiple teams in the gathering of requirements, system application development, configurations, testing, and implementation of new student systems.Creates, oversees the implementation of, and is responsible for successfully executing a multi-year implementation plan for student systems; and communicates that plan to key stakeholders. Collaborates with district leaders to ensure alignment of systems with district priorities.Identifies key results and measurable outcomes to evaluate system effectiveness and improved customer services to determine areas of improvement for the department.Develops, supervises, and evaluates staff.Engages in personal development activities to maintain currency with industry-wide best practices.Directs staff responsible for the development and enhancement of information technology applications providing information on students. Understands and applies principles of performance evaluation and professional growth for employees.Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
