EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans year-long onboarding experience for new employees from all employee associations.Utilizes current research and best practices to support the development of robust and meaningful onboarding experiences for all new employees.Serves as the project manager for all onboarding programs.Ensures that all activities and training experiences explicitly reinforce values, culture, actions and language that are anti-racist.Analyzes hiring data trends to establish an onboarding cycle of experiences that can be initiated as hiring occurs.Collaborates with other offices and teams to support and provide professional learning related to system initiatives.Assists new employees in learning new MCPS roles and adjusting to MCPS culture.Monitors employee satisfaction throughout the onboarding cycle and utilizes the feedback to revise the program as needed.Monitors employee retention after the onboarding experience.Engages with system leaders to inform the onboarding training to ensure the new employee preparation aligns with system, school and office needs.Identifies and oversees trainers that support the onboarding professional development. Facilitates development of job-alike colleague networking opportunities.Serves as a source of support and information for new employees.Performs related work and other duties as required.
