EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides support to the chief school performance officer and, at the discretion of the chief school performance officer, the other six executive staff members in OSP. Manages agenda setting for OSP meetings that enable collaborative interaction between staff in OSP and other stakeholders. Tracks meeting requests, supervises creation of agendas, takes notes, and reviews and summarizes materials and meetings.Coordinates OSP responses to inquiries and requests for information from Board members, principals, staff, and community regarding operational procedures, policies, or issues.Responds to correspondence on behalf of Board members, the superintendent of schools, the deputy superintendent, and the chief school performance officer. Organizes long-range planning for OSP including calendar setting and professional development.Represents the chief school performance officer and/or the community superintendents at meetings with various stakeholders.Assists with the development and maintenance of policies and regulations for which OSP is responsible.Assists the chief school performance officer, community superintendents, directors of school performance, and other staff in OSP in resolving problems that affect operations.Supervises and evaluates staff responsible for special projects and programs, such as response to sexual harassment or hate-violence complaints, summer school, high school plus, etc.Monitors implementation of the school-based incident reporting system training and reporting.Supervises maintenance of principals and administrative secretaries¿ mail lists and constructs and forwards messages to those stakeholders as directed. Completes or supervises completion of system and OSP tasks including course fees, high school graduation, operations calendar, OSP Planning Calendar and Principals Handbook.Works as delegate for Fiscal Management System tasks and office purchase responsibilities.Performs other related work as required.
