EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with cross-office work among central services to ensure aligned resources and support to schools.Aligns the Office of the Deputy Superintendent of School Support and Improvement (ODSSI) strategic plans with the Baldrige criteria and the school systems overall strategic plan.Assists staff members who report to the DSSI with strategic planning, budget development, and supporting schools. Responds to school-based and central office staff by providing policy interpretations and implementation support.Prepares/oversees agendas/talking points for daily meetings, Board of Education meetings, and special eventsResponds to questions from Board members, parents, principals, and community members.Assists with the development and maintenance of policies and regulations for which the DSSI is responsible. Represents the ODSSI on selected committees and at assigned meetings, plans, and makes presentation as requested.Collaborates with executive staff, associate superintendents, and community superintendents. Assists in building a professional learning community through the DSSI Leadership Team and Executive Staff meetings, retreats, institutes, and other professional growth activities.Researches, writes, edits, and reviews correspondence and prepares reports.Performs other duties as assigned
