Not all duties assigned are included, nor are all duties listed performed in every office or every day.Oversees the development of architectural, electrical, or mechanical systems plans, specifications and cost estimates prepared by consulting engineers and architects, ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and standards.Develops and maintains design standards and specifications for systems structures. Reviews, edits, corrects, and interprets drawings, plans, and specifications. Engages in creative and critical thought through diagramming and writingWorks on a variety of K-12 projects from design through construction administration and mentors others who are emerging leaders within the Division Prepares preliminary estimates of the costs of specific architectural, electrical, or mechanical systems projects.Provides technical assistance and support to building maintenance operations, and for in-house projects involving alterations to existing installations.
