Not all duties assigned are included, nor are all duties listed performed in every office or every day.Provides leadership, guidance and support to staff the Division of Maintenance and Operations on all tasks, including custodial work, maintenance, grounds, and equipment.Assess and prioritize daily maintenance and operation¿s needs. Develops, formalizes, and implements both short- and long-term plans, goals, and objectives.Assists in oversight of all processes related to the mission and vision of the division to ensure efficient and effective delivery of service to customers.Supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel.Assists with the development and management of annual budgets and performance measures.Leads maintenance and operations staff and activities during emergency conditions.Communicates with other administrators, personnel, and external organizations to coordinate activities and programs.Facilitates and leads process improvement teams.Assists with the implementation of tools and technologies to improve division wide performance.Communicates effectively both orally and in writing.Represents the division at various departmental and cross-functional meetings as required.Understands and applies the six leadership standards that have been established for the Montgomery County Association of Administrators and Principals (MCAAP/MCBOA) Professional Growth System (PGS).Performs other related duties as assigned.
