EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the vision and strategy for innovation within the Office of Teaching, Learning, and Programs.Designs and develops programs, and field tests related to Social Emotional Learning and Creative Problem Solving.Coordinates with central services and school-based staff members on innovation initiatives.Reviews current innovative programs and initiatives in MCPS and makes recommendations for next steps. Partners with nonprofits and community organizations around technological innovations and curricular advances.Applies for grants and seed funding for innovation projects.Coordinate cross-functional teams to re-design existing programs.Collaborates with the Office of Shared Accountability on both formative and summative evaluation of innovation efforts.Performs other related duties as assigned.
