EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides leadership in alignment with the division¿s strategic plan to staff members on the following ESOL teams: ESOL Instructional Team ESOL Testing and Accountability Center Language Assistance Services Unit American Indian Education Program ESOL Administration Support TeamAssists the director in providing on-site management and supervisory support to the Rocking Horse Road Center facility. Works with the ESOL supervisor to coordinate and monitor the provision of ESOL instructional support and services to schools.Works with the ESOL supervisor to coordinate the provision of professional development centered on building the capacity of ESOL and non-ESOL teachers and administrators to support the linguistic and academic content needs of English language learners across the curriculum.Provides leadership and direct support to nonpublic schools to ensure that they have access to Title III funds. Works with the achievement specialist to coordinate data collection requirements for nonpublic schools.Monitors the implementation of Title III activities and budgets in non-public schools. Evaluates the effectiveness of nonpublic school programs funded under Title III.Prepares Title III and American Indian interim and final grant reports.Works with the supervisor to develop grant applications to secure federal and state funding, as appropriate.Supervises and evaluates ESOL instructional specialists and supporting services staff. Performs related work as required.
