EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervises and coordinates planning and implementation of new, rigorous, engaging elective and required courses in middle schools. Monitors the implementation of middle school program expansion courses. 2. Manages implementation of programs for Middle School Magnet Consortia. 3. Develops and maintains a budget including professional development, technology, materials and supplies for expansion courses. 4. Communicates with local schools on course offerings. 5. Serves as a liaison between the Department of Enriched and Innovative Programs and schools and other offices in MCPS. 6. Collaborates with the Office of the Chief Technology Officer and Office of Organizational Development.7. Performs related duties as assigned.
