This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, knowledge, or ability associated with this classification, but is intended to accurately reflect the core job elements.)Meets regularly with director and key staff to plan and coordinate activities for the enterprise systems and support.Prepares written and oral reports/presentations of progress for assessment of progress for users and the leadership of the department, office and school system. Prepares information on the resource needs of initiatives and projects within the unit and manages the expenditure of budgeted resources.Meets regularly with customers to solicit feedback on customer needs, on the effectiveness of the projects, and change management processes. Identifies key results and measurable outcomes to evaluate improved customer services and to determine areas for improvement.Develops, supervises, and evaluates staff.Engages in personal development activities to maintain currency with industry-wide best practices.Leads the development of information technology applications that support the business processes of the school system, including finance, budget, human resources with enhancements to current systems and implementation of emerging technologies.Works closely with staff across divisions, departments and offices to implement the vision, objectives and strategic priorities of OSI and MCPS. Conducts needs assessments with stakeholders for implementation of emerging technologies.Works with procurement, general counsel, and related departments to engages vendors to provide industry expertise in planning for enterprise program management and support.Understands and applies principles of performance evaluation and professional growth for employees. Performs work as required or assigned.
