EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Meets regularly with director and key staff in application development to plan and coordinate project activities.2. Prepares information on the resource needs of initiatives and projects within the unit and manages the expenditure of budgeted resources.3. Meets regularly with customers to solicit feedback on customer needs and on the effectiveness of the projects being carried out by the unit.4. Identifies key results and measurable outcomes to evaluate improved customer services and to determine areas of improvement for the unit.5. Develops and supervises staff and delegates responsibility to team members as appropriate.6. Engages in personal development activities to maintain currency with industry-wide best practices.7. Directs staff responsible for the development and enhancement of information technology applications providing information on students. 8. Works closely with staff in other divisions, departments and offices to support the vision, objectives and strategies of OCTO and MCPS.9. Performs related work as required.
