This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, knowledge, or ability associated with this classification in every office, but is intended to accurately reflect the core job elements.)Works with staff in the OCAO on projects, and initiatives designed to create equitable access to programs and curriculum, and monitors system wide indicators in this area.Acts as the OCAO international host liaison for Ministry, and educational offices from around the world.Supports the OCAO Executive Directors and other staff members in evaluating and planning program placement.Coordinates and supports partnership work with organizations such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People; Identity, Inc.; and the Chinese American Parents Association.Works in partnership with the Office for School Support and Improvement to provide support for after school activities for students from schools impacted by poverty.Works with the Office of General Counsel on annual updates of A Student¿s Guide to Rights and Responsibilities in MCPS.Works with the Office of Student and Family Support and Engagement on annual update of Code of Conduct in MCPS.Responds to parent/guardian and student inquiries in the Office of the Chief Academic Officer.Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
