EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans and conducts regular and frequent meetings with MSDE, OCTO, and OSESS to maintain O/SS. Engages in personal development activities to maintain currency with industry-wide best practices.Serves as primary contact with MSDE regarding annual changes to the IEP and participates on the IEP Workgroup. Serves as the primary contact for the MD Online IEP for transfer requests.Meets with all special education staff to provide updates and information regarding the components of the IEP. Utilizes Active Directory Services to provide regular, system-wide email updates to all O/SS users regarding O/SS functionality. Plan, implement, supervise, and administer a wide variety of activities to support the functions of O/SS.Updates the MCPS Special Education website and pertinent resource pages on a regular basis. Prepares and reviews budget, selects and plans for distribution of training materials and supplies, maintains necessary financial records, and prepares required reports.Prepare child count extracts from O/SS. Performs related work and other duties as required.
