EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Continue comprehensive school improvement efforts in identified schools by providing training and individualized follow-up support(s) required. Collaborates the planning and implementation of teacher-to-teacher ¿Walk Through¿ data collections. Provides feedback related to strategy instruction. Meet with grade-level teachers and/or departments regarding student achievement and teaching strategies. Assists principal and school staffs analyze pertinent data, root cause, and next steps for increasing student achievement. Works closely with individual and small groups of teachers on the specific action items to plan, implement, and evaluate student achievement as it related to the school improvement plan. Collaborates with the Office of School Performance, the Office of Curriculum and Instructional Programs, ESOL specialists, and other central office supports to provide schools in improvement with the resources and specific needs related to student achievement. Assists local school personnel in utilizing formal and informal data to identify target students, plan intervention focus, and assist with the implementation. Communicates and share best practices with principals and leadership team. Performs related work and other duties as required.
