Assists professional/instructional staff in building a repertoire of strategies that send messages of high expectations for all students through the use of innovative technologies that improve instruction, better meet the needs of all learners, and foster student participation and engagementParticipates in the design and implementation of differentiated, job-embedded professional development and/or training to meet stakeholders¿ needs and MCPS goals to leverage innovative technologies that improve instruction, better meet the needs of all learners, and foster student participation and engagementProvides and supports the development customized training and skill- building opportunities for MCPS employees in offices and schools on using interactive classroom technologies to facilitate school improvement, monitor instruction, and facilitate communicationAdvocates for students with special needs (i.e., GT, ELL, special education) to ensure that the instructional program meets their needs, specifically through the integration of innovative technologiesCoaches and mentors members of the educational community in the meaningful and productive uses of technology for instruction and monitoring student performance.Assists with grant writing opportunities that relate to innovative technologies transforming instructional programsPerforms related work and other duties as required.
