EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the IAE administration with the development, implementation, and monitoring of a wide variety of projects to support system priorities.Works with a collaborative team to develop, plan, and conduct professional development opportunities supporting staff and schools. Answers correspondence and questions regarding school system programs and services. Works with a variety of MCPS offices and schools to gather, analyze, and assemble data and make necessary recommendations for the MCPS Strategic Plan. Collects, analyzes, and utilizes data needed to determine the effectiveness of resources and supports for newcomers and their families. Engages in professional study that provides focus on the identification and implementation of best practices related to international enrollment, newcomers, graduation planning, and wellness. Assists administration in presenting at local, state, and national meetings and conferences. Understands and applies principles of performance evaluation and professional growth standards for employees. Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
