EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews drafts and final copy of materials sent to schools, offices, Board of Education, elected officials, Maryland State Department of Education, and community from various departments, divisions, and offices; reviews and edits outgoing correspondence and material for format, clarity of thought and accuracy, and compliance with Board policies. Works with staff to draft acknowledgments, prepare reports, databases, spreadsheets, charts, and graphs by efficiently demonstrating the ability to identify and utilize a variety of digital applications and platforms. Provides secretarial support to the administrators for all work-related activities including but not limited to all meetings and professional learning sessions. Receives visitors and telephone inquiries; ascertains nature of calls, determines appropriate person to handle inquiry/issue, and which can be referred to other staff members; takes notes and transcribes from individuals or groups. Performs related work as required.
