EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains appointment calendars for staffing specialists.Completes employment transactions and serves as technical resource on transactions processing.Prepares correspondence related to employment processes for signature by staffing analysts and specialists.Answers telephone inquires about programs and services responding to questions from applicants and staff regarding the employment process, position allocations and related issues.Sets up and maintains employment files coordinating record keeping with others involved in applicant tracking and new employment processing.Resolves employment and allocations discrepancies calling schools and offices to determine causes and makes appropriate adjustments.Works with other administrative staff units to maintain accurate allocation records, and advises staffing analysts and specialists on allocations issues.Coordinates, updates and maintains lists such as a list of involuntary transfers, advising schools of the status of impacted individuals.Reviews personnel transactions related to allocations for accuracy.Understands and applies principles of performance evaluation and professional growth standards for employees. Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
