EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works with and maintains clear, timely communication with custodian bank and investment managers to execute trades and wiring instructions.2. Reconciles cash balances with capital account statements, distribution and capital call notices. 3. Performs month end closing procedures, which includes the analysis and reconciliation of internal records with custodial bank.4. Reviews and implements contractual agreements with investment managers and other service providers.5. Compiles and analyzes information for year-end audit and financial statement reporting.6. Maintains and organizes all documents received from investment managers and third-party service providers.7. Prepares and coordinates documentation for subscriptions or redemptions of investment managers.8. Ensures timely payment and recordkeeping of all invoices and expenses from service providers and investment managers.9. Reviews and responds to public information requests in accordance with the Maryland Public Information Act and the Freedom of Information Act.10. Assists in continuing efforts to improve operational efficiency, processes and compliance.11. Writes concise and accurate correspondence and/or reports to internal and external recipients.12. Understands and applies principles of performance evaluation and professional growth for employees.13. Analyzes large volumes of data from multiple sources and reconcile data as required.14. Researches questions or discrepancies and resolves issues on behalf of plan participants and communicates results and other information as appropriate.15. Participates in development of communications pieces and materials regarding pension and defined contribution plans. 16. Participates in implementation of systems, changes to processes and procedures affecting pension and defined benefit plans. 17. Reviews system data for integrity and recommends changes to policy or procedures. 18. Participates in the correction of data and trains other staff in data correction.19. Contributes to special projects as needed.20. Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
