EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, knowledge, or ability associated with this classification, but is intended to accurately reflect the core job elements.)Develops a video workflow and system to maintain a video library within an internal electronic network storage. Responds to strategic video requests from internal and external sources through a defined process, including but not limited to timely responses to court-ordered and administrative subpoenas.Coordinates with schools and MCPS offices to identify and download potentially relevant video on a timely basis. Identifies and reviews video to determine whether it may be responsive to court-ordered and administrative subpoenas, as well as internal and external investigations, in collaboration with the Office of General Counsel and other MCPS offices. Manages the storage and retention of video library for use in legal actions, consistent with applicable data retention schedules. Prepares video in a format that is accessible to the requestors, with appropriate redactions, as necessary and feasible with available technology. Controls user access to video library. Maintains knowledge of current practices and professional standards with video editing and storage techniques, as well as applicable laws, Board of Education policies and MCPS regulations. Understands and applies principles of performance evaluation and professional growth standards for employees.Performs related safety, security, and emergency preparedness duties and assignments consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
