EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in the development of the local and state Capital Improvements Program and Master Plan.Responsible for the development of documentation required for the submission of capital funding request to the State of Maryland. Maintains files and records according to established retention procedures. Monitors changes in state operational procedures and practices to advise director and other MCPS staff. Coordinates with PTA/PTSA members, school staff, and other MCPS staff for state grant program submissions. Coordinates with various staff in the Department of Facilities Management to develop required documentation for local and state capital budget submissions. Understands and applies the seven core competencies of the Supporting Services Professional Growth System (SSPGS) commitment to students, knowledge of job, professionalism, interpersonal, communication, organization, and problem solving.Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
