EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, knowledge, or ability associated with this classification, but is intended to accurately reflect the core job elements.)Develops and analyzes school enrollment forecasts and special program forecasts, in coordination with principals, program staff, and budget staff.Presents demographic trend information to internal and external stakeholders.Participates in county master planning activities to ensure MCPS school sites are included in these plans, where needed.Participates in county growth policy development and prepares enrollment and facility data to assess space adequacy for MCPS schools.Monitors county residential subdivision activity and housing construction schedules for incorporation in enrollment forecasts, facility plans, and school boundary processes.Facilitates community involvement processes. Updates and maintains a facility database. Participates in development of the MCPS Capital Improvements Program.Coordinates above responsibilities with central school system administrators, school principals, and local government staff. Understands and applies the seven core competencies of the Supporting Services Professional Growth System (SSPGS) commitment to students, knowledge of job, professionalism, interpersonal, communication, organization, and problem solving. Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
