EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop initial design layouts (charts, graphs, diagrams, illustrations) from rough input provided by the work group manager. Utilizes the Adobe creative suite to prepare raw photography files for multi-media publishing via appropriate PhotoShop techniques, generating original vector artwork via Illustrator, and display typographic solutions and multi-page text compositions via InDesign. Participates in project management meetings to learn the project requirements, time estimate for completion. Collaborate with colleagues and customers in the development of comprehensive layouts and final proofs. Meet with client to understand their request, discuss design options, amend design according to the client¿s final comments, and develops comprehensive layouts, proofreads and prepare final proofs for print.Follows up with the customer to present the final design and validate that the customer needs are met. Monitors and maintains shared electronic file library.Maintain current skills with industry-standard software through training, reading software publications, etc.Performs related duties as assigned.
