EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintains, adjusts, and performs minor repairs as necessary on a wide variety of state-of-the-art digitally controlled equipment such as high pressure boilers, compressed air systems, ice builders, refrigeration compressors, and a variety of high volume food production and packaging equipment. 2. Diagnose equipment failures and resolve them appropriately. 3. Install bearings, belts, motors, fuses, new parts, etc. 4. Confer with manufacturers' reps and service personnel to help problem identification as necessary. 5. Insure that all mechanical and food production systems are operating efficiently to guarantee compatibility with production requirements. 6. Continuously monitor all food production and mechanical systems to maintain the controlled environment necessary for large volume food production operation. 7. Continuously inspects systems for safe, efficient operation; performs routine maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs as necessary. 8. Schedule major repairs as necessary with appropriate staff. 9. Conduct preventative maintenance program for all mechanical and food production equipment. 10. Maintain, lubricate and fine tune food production equipment to insure that daily production volumes are met. 11. Research vendors for parts availability and order parts and supplies keeping within budget guidelines. 12. Repair / fabricate equipment parts to maintain / improve equipment operation as required. 13. Perform general upkeep duties in office, building and grounds area including maintaining the integrity of building security and alarm systems, snow removal, weed control, parking lot upkeep, etc. 14. Performs other related duties.
