EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist with the day-to-day operation of the Contract Office to meet capital improvement objectives. 2. Implement program activities associated with the funding and execution of a large number of capital improvement projects including, but not limited to the replacements and/or renovation of: grandstands, bleachers, wood gymnasium floors, lockers, carpet, floor-tile, suspended ceiling systems, doors and windows, interior/exterior lighting, UPS systems, roof systems, field renovations, electrical upgrades, electronic upgrades, emergency generators, PA systems, library security gates, toilet partitions, gymnasium folding walls, concrete sidewalks, tennis courts, running tracks, asphalt driveways, parking lots, and plumbing fixtures. 3. Supervise the day-to-day activities of subordinate staff. 4. Create required documents, letters, and memoranda. 5. Complete complex federal and state forms associated with programs and projects. 6. Assist the Contracting Supervisor in on-going revision of six-year project plans and in evaluating project candidates. 7. Monitor assigned projects to insure financial efficacy and on-time completion to avoid/minimize disruption to school operations. 8. Insure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, developing and completing documentation on time, to insure receipt of income from numerous funding sources. 9. Organize, schedule, conduct and document pre-bid, pre-construction, project progress, and post construction meetings when asked to do so. 10. Keep abreast of changing technologies such as those related to roof systems, investigating and recommending modifications to standards of operation, material and equipment, to improve efficiencies and increase system lifecycles. 11.
