Employee Identification Section

All Current and Prospective Employees, short-term and long-term substitutes, Temporary Part-Time Employees, Interns, and Contractual Program Partners of the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services and Montgomery College, are required to complete and pass a criminal background check for eligibility to receive an Employee Identification Card from the Division of Safety and Emergency Management. Clearance statuses are verified with the Office of Human Resources and Development-Background Screening Office for employees, along with associated personnel offices for contractor program partners.

MCPS Employee Building Access Requests (Authorized Personnel Only): Need to transfer your building access to another site or request access to multiple sites?
All employee access requests must be submitted on behalf of an employee by authorized personnel (administrator, administrative secretary, administrative services manager, business manager, supervisor, director, or chief). Requests must be completed online. Phone or email submissions will not be accepted.

Hours of Operation:

Monday–Friday 8am–4pm; Closed for Lunch 12pm–1pm daily
Walk-in services are provided on a first come first serve bases. No appointments are required or accepted.
