Description:
The evaluation study examined academic gain from participation in the Math 180 Intervention Program for middle school and high school students. The result provided little evidence that Math 180 participants benefited from the program in terms of mathematics growth and achievement.
Recommendations:
The recommendation is to continue implementing the Math 180 program by providing: 1) tailored additional student support to address individual learning needs, (2) program-aligned assessments to measure targeted progress, and (3) fidelity and integrity checks to ensure adherence to core implementation standards.
