The data include the 2005–2006 suspension figures along with the suspensions from the previous two years. Additionally, baseline data for the 1999–2000 school year are provided. Compared with the 2004–2005 school year, the countywide rate for out-of-school suspensions for all students remained stable, increasing by 0.1 percentage point to 4.7 percent. However, the suspension rates for African American and Hispanic students remain disproportionately higher than for White and Asian American students.
