This study is the fourth in a series of studies on the impact of the full-day Head Start model in Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS). This study was designed to examine the effects of the full-day Head Start model on students' academic performance at the end of Grade 1 for the first 2007—2008 full-day Head Start model cohort.
