U. S. Secretary of Energy Samuel Bodman will visit Seneca Valley High School on Friday, April 22, to participate in a special Earth Day assembly. The assembly will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will feature an address by Dr. Bodman on ways young people can contribute to protecting the environment. A student question-and-answer period will follow at 9:00 a.m.

Seneca Valley High School has had an Adopt-a-School relationship for many years with the Department of Energy, which has provided speakers, science mentors, internships for students, and professional development for teachers.
