Forum on October 12, 2006, to Provide Feedback about the MCPS Strategic Plan and Operating Budget

Parents, students, staff, and community members are invited to participate in a public forum on the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) strategic plan and FY 2008 operating budget on Thursday, October 12, at 7:00 p.m. The forum will be held in the auditorium of the Carver Educational Services Center at 850 Hungerford Drive in Rockville.

Citizen comments early in the budget process will help MCPS continue to make improvements in support of student achievement. To speak during the forum, call the Board of Education office at 301-279-3617. Individuals who cannot attend may use a feedback form on the MCPS Web site to register comments.

Childcare, Interpretation Services Available
On-site childcare will be provided at the forum. Interpreters for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and French will be available. To request sign language interpretation, call 301-517-5539 or 5582 (Voice/TTY) at least one week prior to the forum.
