GE Information Services Open House to Feature Sculptures by Advanced Studio Art Students from Springbrook High School
Springbrook's advanced studio art students, led by art teacher Louise Runion, have created relief sculptures depicting their personal feelings about the far-reaching effects of information technology and the influence of computers and other technology on the global society. Also exhibited are a series of chair sculptures based on the techniques and styles of artists such as Monet, Van Gogh and O'Keefe.
Superintendent Jerry D. Weast is scheduled to visit the exhibit at 11:30 a.m.
GE Information Services, Inc.is at 100 Edison Park Road in Gaithersburg. The building is located just west of Muddy Branch Road on Route 28.
