Board of Education to Hold Budget Work Sessions on Jan. 23 and 28

The Montgomery County Board of Education will hold the first of two work sessions on Superintendent Joshua P. Starr’s proposed Fiscal Year 2015 Operating Budget today, January 23, at 6 p.m., at the Carver Educational Services Center in Rockville.

The agenda, with related materials attached, can be found on the Board of Education’s BoardDocs site.

The second work session will be held on Tuesday, January 28, at 3 p.m. This meeting was rescheduled from January 21 due to emergency weather conditions.

Both meetings will be broadcast live on the MCPS website and on MCPS TV (Comcast Channel 34).

The Board is expected to approve a final budget request on Tuesday, February 11.
