Back-to-School Snapshots to be Featured on MCPS Website

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is inviting parents to submit their favorite first-day-of-school snapshots on Monday, August 25. Many pictures will be shared on the district’s website and social media beginning Monday morning.

For email, parents should select the best horizontal first-day-of-school photo of their child(ren) and send the photo as a .jpeg file (no larger than 4 MB) to pio@mcpsmd.org. Please include your child’s name, grade level and school (we will not publish last names).

For social media, parents and students can post photos on Twitter using the hashtag #MCPSfirstday. Some of the posts will be retweeted on the MCPS Twitter feed.

By submitting a photo, parents are agreeing to its use for publication on the MCPS website. If you have questions, contact the Department of Public Information and Web Services at 301-279-3853 or email us at pio@mcpsmd.org.
