Two Students are Among the National Medal Winners in the NAACP's ACT-SO Competition
The Montgomery County Public Schools winners, their schools, and their areas of competition are:
The ACT-SO program allows African American high school students to demonstrate their knowledge and abilities in a variety of academic and creative disciplines. This year, more than 800 students competed in the national competition for bronze, silver, and gold medals in 12 categories that included the sciences, humanities, and the performing and visual arts.
