Thomas Edison High School of Technology has been selected as the first Automotive Youth Educational Systems (AYES) site in Maryland, providing students in the automotive trades program at Edison with enhanced opportunities to develop technical and professional skills and enjoy the challenge of integrated work/study experiences.
A kick-off luncheon will be held at Columbia County Club, 7900 Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase, on October 15.
AYES represents a collaboration with major automotive manufacturers to enhance existing partnerships with local automotive businesses in the Montgomery County Students Automotive Trades Foundation.
