Safe driving will be the topic of a special assembly for 10th and 11th grade students at Walt Whitman High School on Tuesday, April 12, at 9 a.m.

The event, hosted by WJLA-TV anchor Leon Harris, will feature interviews with police officers and accident victims, demonstration of a field sobriety test, and video taken by a miniature camera inside a car driven by teens.

The assembly is part of a focus on teen driver safety as prom, graduation, and summer driving season approach.
