The Board of Education has requested community comment regarding its revised Policy ABA, Community Involvement, which reflects the ongoing collaboration and communication among schools, offices, departments, divisions, and stakeholders that are critical to support students and families. The policy is the core governance policy for Goal 3, Strengthen Productive Partnerships for Education, in the school system’s strategic plan, Our Call to Action: Pursuit of Excellence.

Individuals who wish to provide comments should respond in writing by May 15, 2006. All responses should be sent to the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 850 Hungerford Drive, Rockville, Maryland 20850. The responses will be shared with the Board of Education.
