High School Options Meeting for Grade 7 Families in Northeast and Downcounty Consortia

Families of Grade 7 students who live in or attend middle school in the Northeast Consortium (NEC) or the Downcounty Consortium (DCC) are invited to attend an information meeting to learn about high school Consortium options, application programs, and the Choice process. The Choice process takes place in the fall of a student’s Grade 8 year.

The meeting to learn more about high school options in the NEC will be at Benjamin Banneker Middle School on Thursday, April 24 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Two meetings are scheduled to learn more about high school options in the DCC: at Newport Mill Middle School on Thursday, May 1, or at Parkland Middle School on Thursday, May 15. Both are from 7 to 8:30 p.m., and the same information will be presented at both meetings.

Information will be presented in both English and Spanish at all meetings. Please call the Division of Consortia Choice and Application Program Services (DCCAPS) at 301-592-2040 if you have questions.

En los consorcios del Noreste y Downcounty

Familias de estudiantes en séptimo grado que viven ó asisten a una de las escuelas intermedias en los consorcios del Noreste (NEC) y Downcounty (DCC) están cordialmente invitados a asistir a una reunión de información, para aprender acerca de sus opciones de escuelas secundarias en el Consorcio, programa de aplicación  y el proceso de elección.  El proceso de elección es realizado en otoño a estudiantes de octavo grado.

La reunión para aprender mas acerca del NEC será en la escuela intermedia de Benjamín Banneker el día jueves, 24 de abril de 7 a 8:30 p.m.

Para el consorcio del DCC serán en: Newport Mill Middle School el día jueves 1 de mayo y Parkland Middle School el día jueves 15 de mayo.  Ambas serán de 7:00 a 8:30 p.m. ofreciendo la misma información.
