A Northeast Consortium Preferred Choice information meeting for Grade 8 students who are currently enrolled in private schools and reside in the Northeast Consortium attendance area will be held on Tuesday, December 5.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Spring Mill Field Office, 11721 Kemp Mill Road, Silver Spring, Maryland.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide private school parents and students with information about the Preferred Choice student assignment process and the educational options in public schools provided through the signature programs at the three Consortium high schools:

James Hubert Blake High School - Fine Arts and Humanities

Paint Branch High School - Science and Media

Springbrook High School - Information Technology in a Global Society

and International Baccalaureate
