As part of a commitment to student and parent outreach, the Montgomery College/Montgomery County Public Schools Partnership will hold a press conference to announce the first edition of "PrepTalk," a newsletter with advice on college preparation for students and parents. The newsletter will be distributed to families with middle and high school students.

The press conference will take place on Wednesday, February 28, at 11:00 a.m.in the Richard Montgomery High School Career Center.

Superintendent Jerry D. Weast, Montgomery College President Charlene R. Nunley, Board of Education President Nancy J. King, County Council President Blair G. Ewing, and County Council Member Michael L. Subin will be joined by college and high school students to talk about the importance of planning early for college admission by taking challenging courses, preparing for standardized tests, and exploring financial aid options.
