Walter Johnson High School Hosts Community Day

November 6, 2001
Walter Johnson High School will host its first ever Community Day on Wednesday, November 7, focusing on the theme of “We Not Me.” The overall goal of Community Day is to create a framework within which adults and students in the Walter Johnson community can engage in a thoughtful and reflective dialogue about the nature of the school community and individual roles within it.

Faculty, staff, parents, and students will participate in team-building activities, attend a rally, and participate in two breakout sessions that will focus on community-building and active listening as foundational skills necessary for working together effectively.

Activities are scheduled from 7:25 a.m. until 11:45 a.m., highlighted by a rally featuring student, faculty, and guest speakers from 8:40 a.m. until 9:40 a.m.
